Awkward Social Time

As uncomfortable as arranging the seating plan may be, the actual experience may be ten times more so for your guests seated with strangers. If they are awkward like me and are lost for conversation starters, then your beautiful ceremony may be overshadowed by the fear of the awkward silence at the reception. To encourage guests to open up with each other and promote light-hearted conversation, you may consider placing games and other ice-breakers at each table.

Here are a few of my favorites:

This wedding version of Mad Libs is sure to bring back some fond memories while making new ones too!

This I-spy game is perfect for those extra observant guests!

This game will ensure guests are listening close.

This game would be a fun way to test guests memory and remind them of some of their own good times with the bride and/or groom.

This is one of my personal favorites that allows the guests to get to know one another.

And of course guests will be motivated by prizes and fun times. And I also wish you a fun ever after!
